Sahana is a Product Designer currently at Google in sunny California. She has previously worked on Google’s Next Billion Users team, Spotify’s Premium team based in London, and frog design. She has a passion for designing for global markets, and has worked on projects such as Datally, and Spotify Mini. She was also part of the original founding team of Yona Care while at frog design. She deeply enjoys learning about the habits of users in other markets and designing new experiences that solve everyday problems in thoughtful ways.

As designers we've found it's sometimes difficult to influence product decisions, and our products pay later down the line. We call this concept design debt, and we'll discuss how to identify the risk early, mitigate it, and ultimately influence product decisions."
