I have been designing software, websites/apps, appliances, technological devices (computers/mobiles), businesses, and services that are used by millions of people every day around the world. In addition, I have been working with user research, design thinking, UX strategy, service design besides interaction design for global brands since 1995.
In the early 2000s, I was the pioneer for igniting Service Design, UX and Interaction Design movements in Brazil. Currently, I’m leading IxDA (Interaction Design Association) and Service Design Network initiatives at the local market. Furthermore, since 2007, I'm the trailblazer lecturer of design thinking, service design and interaction design in Brazil - I co-founded the Faber-Ludens Institute, the first reference center on Interaction Design and UX (User Experience) in Brazil. Moreover, I co-organized the main Latin American conference on the theme UX (now Interaction Latin America, formerly Interaction South America). I also launched the post-graduate program on Human-Centered Design at Positivo University, with 2 courses: Interaction Design and Service Design - the latter pioneer in Latin America.
How the Brazilian design community flourished in the 21st century, it impacted an entire America Latin region and today we bring together thousands of professionals in hundreds of organizations.
