Freire is considered one of the most notable thinkers in the history of world pedagogy, being one of the three most cited and analyzed academic theorists in the world. His legacy goes beyond time and continues to expand in new frontiers of knowledge. In Brazil, a group of researchers has endeavored to debate Design from the perspective of Paulo Freire. In this dialogue with Africa and the world, we want to share what we have learned so far with Freire about Participatory approaches to Design and build stories and knowledge based on our roots, perspectives, and experiences.
