Bapu Kaladhar is a Strategic Design Thinker and Design Activist. He is most interested in incubating new business models that deliver social impact that is environmentally friendly and drive economic growth while strengthening the 'Good Design for Better Living' value proposition.

He is the founder and president at UMO Design Foundation and UXIndia International Design Conference, a non-profit organization founded in 2000 and grown to become India's most significant design community and became the largest international conference on UX design in India. It is a forum dedicated to discussing, improving, and promoting good design. His relentless commitment to social impact has led him to initiate UMO Design School to bring quality design education at the grassroots level.

He is one of the firsts to bring User Experience Design to India. He established a reputation for building innovative, easy, and pleasurable products and applications for Microsoft, Publicis Sapient, Goldman Sachs, Citi, Morgan Stanely, Moody's, Two Sigma, Fidelity, Dr. Reddys, Cordys, BaaN, and numerous other startups.

He graduated in Design Management from the prestigious Pratt Institute, New York, and Visual Communications from Industrial Design Center Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
