Many designers and design organizations are aligning themselves with the principles of inclusive design, only to find new frustration practicing it. Inclusive design requires practitioners to work with literally all kinds of people. And while we talk all the time about "implicit bias" as the great barrier, there's something beyond that: the discomfort many of us feel having the hard conversations that lead to progress. In this session, we'll get comfortable with discomfort, and look at how not to shy away from doing great, inclusive work.
